Training and Education
Together We Bake, Washington, DC Metro area – Their mission is provide a comprehensive workforce training and personal development program that will allow women to develop self confidence, transferable workforce skills, and invaluable hands-on experience, which will allow them to find sustainable employment and move toward self sufficiency.

WE LEARN (Women Expanding Literacy Education Action Resource Network) – This was an organization that I founded in 2003. I passed it along to the current board in 2013. Their mission: WE LEARN is a community promoting women’s literacy as a tool that fosters empowerment and equity for women.
